The Rotary Club of South Anne Arundel County (SAARC) is a dynamic, high energy, and talented group of individuals who are very active in our local community. SAARC strives to have a good time while doing good in the community by living our Four-Way Test of the things we think, say and do:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
and we add a fifth thing, "Is it FUN?"

Students from the schools, both public and private, grades 3 to 5, write inspirational essays. One winner from each school is selected and a gift certificate from Barnes & Noble is awarded to each winner.
